Sale of Nualtra to global food giant Ajinomoto Cambrooke.

The shareholders of Nualtra appointed Capnua in 2018 to advise on business strategy and initiatives to maximise shareholder value. in 2021, following a renewed focus on product development, Capnua was appointed to find a strategic trade buyer for the business.

Nualtra is a medical nutrition company based in Limerick, specialising in Oral Nutritional Supplements. By partnering with Ajinomoto, Nualtra aims to combine their strengths and enhance their collective capabilities to better meet the needs of customers and patients worldwide.

Ajinomoto is Toyko Stock market listed, Japanese food and biotechnology corporation with 100 subsidiaries and a market cap of €10bn. They are one of the largest food companies in the world.
