A partner of Capnua, Jamie specialises in M&A advisory and funding/financing for entrepreneurs and large privately owned business across a range of sectors including healthcare, pharma, life sciences, insurance and contracting. 

Jamie is a chartered accountant with 12 years’ experience across corporate finance and audit & advisory. Jamie has developed specific expertise in the healthcare & pharma sector, particularly on the buy side of M&A deals and large banking transactions.  This expertise is critical to advising on leveraged buyouts transactions. A number of leading Irish businesses work with Jamie on an ongoing basis for his honest and enthusiastic approach to providing ideas and solutions.

Jamie has significant experience in the healthcare & pharma sector where he has advised on the acquisition of Sisk Healthcare, the Hickey’s Pharmacy Group and Durbin plc by Uniphar plc and the sale of Direct Medical to Vivisol (a member of the Sol Group). Recently, Jamie advised on the sale of O’Driscoll O’Neill to Arachus and assisted Xeolas Pharmaceuticals on an equity raise to fund on a new product opportunity. Jamie has also advised on a number of large banking transactions including the refinance of Uniphar plc’s acquisition and working capital facilities, debt fundraising to facilitate growth in Sysnet and working capital facilities for Mergon. 

Jamie lives in Dublin with his wife and 2 young kids.  He enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for Old Wesley Rugby Club and Kells Bay, a small fishing village in County Kerry.
